At Groom Huntley, we understand that every pet is unique, and their individual needs are our top priority. With over 20 years of experience, our dedicated team specializes in providing gentle and compassionate care for anxious, senior, aggressive, and incontinent pets.

Additionally, our salon proudly offers cat grooming services, recognizing that feline companions also deserve the same level of care and attention as their canine counterparts. We understand the unique needs and behaviors of cats and take our time with each client to ensure they feel comfortable and relaxed throughout their grooming session.

At Groom Huntley, the happiness and well-being of every pet are our utmost priorities. We strive to create a nurturing and positive environment where pets can feel safe, loved, and pampered during their grooming experience.

Patience and compassion for our client’s pets is our focus. We take time with each of our client’s beloved animals and make sure they are comfortable while they are with us.

We have pets that come to us that are extremely anxious, some are aggressive, some with bladder and bowel issues and many senior pets.

Below is a little about how we handle each of these scenarios:

Aggressive Pets

For aggressive pets, safety is paramount. Our experienced groomers use gentle handling techniques and take the time to build trust with these pets, ensuring their grooming experience is as stress-free as possible while prioritizing the safety of both the pet and our staff.

Anxious Pets

For anxious pets, we take a patient and soothing approach, offering calming techniques and creating a tranquil environment to help them feel at ease throughout the grooming process. Our team is trained to recognize signs of anxiety and adjust our methods accordingly, ensuring a stress-free experience for every furry friend.

Incontinent Pets

Incontinent pets are treated with sensitivity and respect. We provide careful attention to cleanliness and hygiene during the grooming process, using appropriate techniques and products to ensure the comfort and well-being of these pets.

Senior Pets

Senior pets require extra care and attention due to their specific health and mobility needs. We tailor our grooming techniques to accommodate their comfort levels, taking breaks as needed and providing gentle handling to minimize any discomfort.

So, who are we? We’re the proud owners of Groom Huntley, a haven for all things furry and fabulous. With many years of experience in the pet grooming business, we’ve seen it all, from fluffy Pomeranians to majestic Maine Coons, and everything in between.

But enough about us – let’s talk about why you’re here. You see, we get it. Your furry friend isn’t just a pet – they’re family. And when it comes to grooming, you want nothing but the best for your beloved companion. That’s where we come in.

At Groom Huntley, we’re not just pet groomers – we’re pet lovers. With four dogs and six cats of our own, we know firsthand the joy, the love, and yes, the occasional chaos that comes with being a pet parent. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Our Policies

Cancellation Policy

All grooming appointments cancelled less than 24 hours prior to your appointment will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

We embrace diversity in all its forms and are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for everyone.

We do not discriminate on the basis of breed, size, color, age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, disability, or any other characteristic. Every dog and their owner are treated with equal care, attention, and respect. Our team members are trained to uphold these values in all interactions, ensuring that every pet receives the highest standard of grooming services without prejudice. We believe that diversity enriches our salon and enhances the experience for all our clients. Late-Arrival Policy

To ensure our operations run smoothly and our client’s pet return home happy and safely, we do not house multiple pets for extended periods of time. We kindly request that you pick-up your pet promptly after your grooming appointment has finished. We do call 15-20 minutes prior to completion and send a notification again once the pet has been completed. We do charge a late fee of $15 per additional 15 minute block past the appointment time.
