Groom Huntley is expanding and looking to hire new groomers
(1-3 years minimum grooming experience required) who absolutely loves pets & people. We are a fast-paced salon focused on safe, quality grooms, client satisfaction, & happy healthy dogs! We have been in business for over 20 years and are under new ownership.

• Pay is 50% commission on all services and packages
• 80% on walk-in nail trims plus employee incentives.

40 Hours: Between Monday – Friday 8-4:30pm Saturday 8-4pm. (Need Saturday Availability)

Dog Groomer Responsibilities:

• Grooming and styling pets according to pet owners’ instructions or standard grooming styles.
• Bathing, conditioning, and drying pets, de-matting and de-tangling as required.
• Trimming pets’ nails, brushing their teeth, and cleaning their ears.
• Accommodating special requests that pet owners may have.
• Identifying health issues in pets, such as ear infections, skin conditions, or tooth decay, and informing pet owners of these observations.
• Ensuring that all pets are safe during the grooming process.
• Daily cleaning work areas.
• Checking In/Out Customers
• Recommending suitable products to pet owners.

Dog Groomer Requirements:

• Must have dog GROOMING experience
• Must work Saturdays 8-4pm. ( 5 day work week)
• High school diploma or GED.
• Certification through the National Dog Groomer Association of America is advantageous.
• Proven professional grooming experience.
• Sound understanding of animal behavior.
• The ability to stand for long periods of time.
• The ability to treat all animals with compassion.
• The ability to lift heavy pets (over 50lbs).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
